About Gary
Gary Condit has called Ceres home for the majority of his life, nestled in the heart of California’s Central Valley. A proud graduate of Ceres High School, Gary married his high school sweetheart, Destiny Suarez, and together they’ve remained deeply rooted in the community that shaped them.
Gary has been employed full-time at the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office for 4 years as an analyst dedicated to community relations and public affairs tasks. On the side, he runs his own marketing and consulting business, helping local businesses, elected leaders, and nonprofits take control of their brand and messaging through social media and marketing efforts.
Gary holds an Associate’s Degree in Administration of Justice from Modesto Junior College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing from California Coast University.
His passion for civic involvement led him to serve on the Ceres Planning Commission, where he works alongside appointed commissioners to guide zoning decisions and support thoughtful business development throughout the city. Gary is also a member of the Love Ceres Committee, which hosts the annual Love Ceres event each year to improve our city.
Gary and Destiny deeply value the role young people play in shaping the future of their community. In 2025, they awarded two scholarships to students who demonstrated a strong commitment to public service and community involvement. In addition to their scholarship efforts, they also operate a nonprofit organization established in memory of Gary’s great-grandfather, the late Rev. Adrian Condit, The Rev. Adrian Condit Memorial Foundation. The organization’s mission is to honor Rev. Condit’s legacy by supporting students who have demonstrated leadership within their church, a passion for the gospel, and a heart for serving those in need. This year, they selected one student for this recognition and look forward to expanding both of these efforts to impact more students throughout the Central Valley.
In 2023, Gary and Destiny purchased their first home in Ceres at the age of 23. They are excited to welcome their first child—a baby boy—expected in 2025.
